Sterling Lafayette Epoxy Floors, lafayetteepoxyandconcreteflooring.com, hello@lafayetteepoxyandconcreteflooring.com
Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Sterling Lafayette Epoxy Floors website and any estimate or work you ask us for. By using the site, calling us or booking a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you do.
If you don't agree with something here, don't use the site, and call us at (765) 250-3629 so we can talk it through before any work is scheduled.
What we do
Sterling Lafayette Epoxy Floors is a flooring contractor based in Lafayette, IN. We coat, polish, stain, seal, grind, resurface and strip concrete floors for homes and businesses in Lafayette and the cities around it.
The service descriptions on our home page and service pages explain how the work usually goes. Every floor is different, so the scope of your job is whatever your written estimate or contract says, not a general description on the site.
Estimates and pricing
We give free estimates at your property, and there's no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, including the size of the floor, its condition, the system you choose and how much prep the concrete needs.
Some problems only show up once the old coating is off or the slab is ground, such as moisture coming up through the concrete, hidden cracks or old adhesive. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and explain the cost of fixing it, and we won't do extra work at extra cost until you agree to it.
Prices or ranges mentioned anywhere on this website are general information and are not an offer. Your price is the one in your written estimate, and an estimate stays good for the time it states.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We'll give you a start date and an expected length for the job, and we'll do our best to keep to it. Coatings depend on temperature, humidity and how the concrete behaves once it's open, so we may move a date when conditions would cause the floor to fail, and we'll tell you as early as we can when that happens.
You agree to give our crew access to the work area, clear it of vehicles and belongings unless we've agreed to move them, and keep people and pets off the floor until we say it's ready.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as soon as you know. Any deposit, and whether it can be refunded, is handled the way your written estimate or contract says.
Payment
Payment amounts, any deposit, due dates and accepted payment methods are set out in your written estimate or contract. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause unfinished work until it's paid. You're also responsible for reasonable costs we have to pay to collect an overdue balance, as far as Indiana law allows.
Warranties and what they don't cover
We stand behind our work, and any warranty we give you on a job is described in your written estimate or contract. That document is what controls, not anything said in passing or shown on this website.
No warranty covers damage from misuse, impacts, harsh chemicals, hot tires on a floor that hasn't fully cured, ground settling, new cracks in the slab, or moisture problems we didn't know about and couldn't reasonably have found. Product warranties belong to the coating makers, and they follow the makers' own terms.
This website and its content are provided as they are, for general information. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise that every page is complete, current or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
As far as Indiana law allows, Sterling Lafayette Epoxy Floors isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost business, lost use of a space or inconvenience, from using this website or from our work.
For any claim about a job, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
If something goes wrong
If you're unhappy with a job, call us first, because most problems are faster to fix in person than on paper. We'll come look at the floor and tell you what we'll do about it.
If we can't settle it between us, either side may take the matter to a court in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.
Governing law
These terms, this website and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to rules that would apply another state's law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version on this page is the one that applies. A change doesn't alter a written estimate or contract you've already signed unless we both agree to it.
If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
Questions about these terms
You can learn who we are on our About page, and you can reach us any day from 6 AM to 11 PM at (765) 250-3629 or through our contact page. We'll reply within one business day.
